Jennifer Turner Interviewed by The Globe and Mail

A recent study published by Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences shows that pollution from heavy industry concentrated in eastern China is drifting across the Pacific Ocean and helping foul the air on North America’s west coast.

On Thursday, January 23 CEF Director Jennifer Turner was interviewed by The Globe and Mail, a Canadian Newspaper, about the responsibility for pollution that occurs in developing countries but is linked to western consumption. Dr. Turner pointed out that "the new study offers a chance to have a broader debate about the responsibility for China’s pollution problem."
