Short-Term Grants for Russians, Ukrainians, and other non-U.S. citizens (other than permanent residents) have been suspended until further notice.
For U.S. citizens and permanent residents, grant deadlines are December 1, March 1, June 1, and September 1. Grants do not exceed one month's duration and are available to scholars who research in the social sciences or humanities focuses on the former Soviet Union (excluding the Baltic States).
