China Gender and Law Expert Group Roundtables

This summer, the Global Women’s Leadership Initiative (GWLI) at the Wilson Center, in partnership with the Ford Foundation, will launch two roundtable discussions,“Looking Back at the Fourth World Conference on Women: Beijing +20.” and “A Conversation on Women’s Leadership”, bringing together experts in women’s human rights law, business, and academia. Both roundtable events will be held at the Ford Foundation in Beijing.

On June 12 and July 6, 2014, the Global Women’s Leadership Initiative (GWLI) at the Wilson Center, in partnership with the Ford Foundation, will launch roundtable discussions focusing on women’s empowerment. The Gender and Law Expert Group Roundtable on June 12 will bring together experts in women’s human rights law to engage with the topic, “Looking Back at the Fourth World Conference on Women: Beijing +20.” The second event, “A Conversation on Women’s Leadership”, will take place on July 6th and brings together experts from both business and academia. Both roundtable events will be held at the Ford Foundation in Beijing.
