CWIHP is pleased to announce that Senior Scholar Bernd Schaefer was recently interviewed by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) on the work of the Wilson Center's History and Public Policy Program, the state of China's archives, and his ongoing research on Sino-German relations.

A paper prepared by Schaefer for the conference New Archives, New Views in Beijingentlited "The East German Mission for Sino-Eastern European Rapprochement against Soviet Resistance, 1978-1986," was also posted online on the website of CASS.
