Donga Ilbo and Joongang Ilbo published articles on the inter-Korean economic competition in the 1970s based on newly published NKIDP documents. Based on conversations former North Korean leader Kim Il Sung had with his Romanian and Bulgarian counterparts, the articles reveal Kim's mistaken belief that DPRK's economy would never be overtaken by that of the ROK.

Donga Ilbo and Joongang Ilbo published articles on the inter-Korean economic competition in the 1970s based on newly published NKIDP documents. The articles also feature details about troubles in Sino-DPRK relations during China's Cultural Revolution.
