EES/Wilson Center Website Redesign

On November 18, 2002 the Wilson Center unveiled a greatly improved presence on the World Wide Web, dramatically extending the reach and impact of the Center's programs, publications, and meetings. With this redesign, the EES pages have also undergone a face lift. In addition to a new look, other features on the EES website will include:

- Search function: search the entirety of both the EES and Wilson Center websites by subject, author, or keyword.

- Events: (formerly Calendar of Events) lists past and future meetings. Also includes short summaries of past events written by Wilson Center staff.

- Publications: an entire section devoted to EES related topics written by featured scholars and practitioners in the field. This section will include our Meeting Reports, Occasional Papers, Opinion Pieces, and Special Reports.

- Scholars: lists detailed information about all EES-affiliated scholars and their projects.

Global Europe Program

The Global Europe Program is focused on Europe’s capabilities, and how it engages on critical global issues.  We investigate European approaches to critical global issues. We examine Europe’s relations with Russia and Eurasia, China and the Indo-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. Our initiatives include “Ukraine in Europe” – an examination of what it will take to make Ukraine’s European future a reality.  But we also examine the role of NATO, the European Union and the OSCE, Europe’s energy security, transatlantic trade disputes, and challenges to democracy. The Global Europe Program’s staff, scholars-in-residence, and Global Fellows participate in seminars, policy study groups, and international conferences to provide analytical recommendations to policy makers and the media.  Read more
