Este mismo día, también se prevé un desayuno de trabajo con representantes de la Cámara de Comercio de Estados Unidos, a lo que le seguirá un diálogo con senadores y congresistas.

Durante la pasada VII Cumbre de las Américas celebrada en el 10 y 11 en la Ciudad de Panamá, el mandatario se reunió con empresarios de la Cámara de Comercio de Estados Unidos, con quienes acordó un desayuno de trabajo el 22 de abril en Washington.

Seguidamente, para tratar sobre asuntos de seguridad, se reunirá con autoridades de los operadores de justicia. También será recibido en un encuentro de trabajo por académicos del Wilson Center y Health Foundation.
