Jul 07, 2009

Former CEF speaker Jim Watson and coauthor Tao Wang publish new report: "China's Energy Transition: Pathways for Low Carbon Development"

The report presents four scenarios with varying degrees of population growth, energy demand, carbon sequestration techniques, and several other variables. Each of these scenarios presents a different possible path China could take to reduce its future carbon output and analyzes the possible consequences on investment, economic structure and government policy.
