International Studies Association Annual Convention To Examine Global Water Governance, Security

MARCH 2008—ECSP Director Geoff Dabelko to Chair Panel on Water Conflict, Cooperation

The International Studies Association 2008 Annual Convention, which will take place March 26-29 in San Francisco, will feature several panels exploring the links between international water management and security. ECSP Director Geoff Dabelko will chair one of two panel discussions on conflict and cooperation over shared water resources. ECSP contributor Aaron Wolf will chair a panel on transboundary water governance, while another panel will examine transboundary and international water management.

Dabelko will also serve as a discussant for "Environmental and Human Security in Africa" and "Challenges of Policy-Relevant Research on the Seam Between
Physical and Social Sciences."
