NPIHP Experts Featured in Italian Documentary

NPIHP Experts Leopoldo Nuti and Vladislav Zubok are featured in a new documentary on the US Jupiter missiles stationed in Italy

NPIHP is pleased to announce that NPIHP co-director Leopoldo Nuti, and NPIHP partner Vladislav Zubok will be featured in a new documentary on US Jupiter missiles in Italy.

The film, Murge: il fronte della guerra fredda, (Murge: A Front in the Cold War) deals with the intersection of the Italian countryside and inhabitants which played host to the missiles, and the Cold War conflict which brought them there. Directed by Fabrizio Galatea and produced by Zenit Film, it contains extensive rare footage from the 1957-63 time period, including film of the missiles themselves, and interviews with members of the original Italian crews.
