UK Imams Denounce Islamic State in Iraq and Syria

           Senior Muslim leaders in the United Kingdom have released a video denouncing the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the militant group which has declared a caliphate in the parts of Iraq and Syria that it controls. The non-governmental organization Imams Online brought 100 imams together to say, “We are Muslims united against ISIS, against terrorism, against atrocity, against pain and suffering.” The follow video declares ISIS to be an illegitimate and vicious group that does not represent Islam.
