Klaus Toepfer is head of Environmental program of the United Nations, which is based in Nairobi Kenya. In recent years his organization has focused on the security dimension of environmental issues. Here he explains how both resource scarcity and abundance can cause problems and how, left unattended, environmental conflicts might begin the wars of the future.

This program will air on Wednesday night at 8:00 pm and re-air Thursday at 12 noon and again Saturday at 8:00 am on MHZ NETWORKS, broadcast channel 56.
