Carole Dagher is a Research Associate at the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding and an International Visiting Fellow at the Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown University.

Lebanon remains one of the most conflicted societies in the Middle East. Historic tensions between its native Muslim and Christian communities complicate its relations with neighboring states like Syria and Israel. Establishing harmony between the largest Lebanese religious communities is important in itself and may provide a model for action elsewhere. Carole Dagher explains how.
