Joyce Davis is an acknowledged expert on the Middle East and Islamic movements. Her newest book offers insights into Islam's teaching on martyrdom and its connection to the September 11 attacks on the United States. Ms. Davis also is author of Between Jihad and Salaam: Profiles in Islam, a collection of profiles and interviews with Islamic leaders around the world.
