Mexico's Energy Reform: The View from the Left

As the Mexican congress prepares to debate secondary legislation for energy reform, the leadership of the Partido de la Revolución Democrática (PRD) offers its perspective on the process, and on the requirements for a healthy, strong and functioning energy sector.

Jesus Zambrano Grijalva is a founding member of the PRD and is the party’s current National President. He holds a degree in sociology from Universidad de San Luis Potosi and has held various political offices between 1994 and 2011.
