Carlotta Gall has spent years reporting from Afghanistan and Pakistan, beginning shortly after the 9/11 attacks. Her new book, The Wrong Enemy, argues that much of the damage from the war in Afghanistan can be traced to Pakistan’s government and intelligence forces.  Now that American troops are withdrawing, she argues, it is time to tell the full history of how we have been fighting the wrong enemy, in the wrong country. This event will feature brief comments from Gall about her book, followed by audience Q/A. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
