Ray Takeyh, Author of Hidden Iran: Paradox and Power in the Islamic Republic and Senior Fellow for Middle Eastern Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations

This is the third in a series of book talks focusing on new and recent books on Iran. Authors will discuss their own books and, in each instance, we will use the occasion for an examination of major developments in Iran's politics, economy, society and foreign policy.

Dr. Ray Takeyh will examine the complexities of Iranian politics and its relationship with its regional counterparts and with the United States. He will discuss recent developments pertaining to Iran's domestic political scene as well as the nuclear issue, which still finds itself unresolved.
