East European Studies Short-term Research Scholarships

The Wilson Center's European Studies Program is now accepting applications for the EES Short-term Grant competition, which is open to academic experts and practitioners, including advanced graduate students, engaged in specialized research requiring access to Washington, DC and its research institutions. On November 15, Professor Anatoli Mikhailov, one of the leading personalities fighting for democracy in Belarus, will be awarded the Ion Ratiu Democracy Lecture Award at the Wilson Center. His lecture is entitled, "Democracy as a Challenge". This event is open to the public.
