Beijing+20: Looking Back and the Road Ahead

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (Beijing+20), the Middle East Program and the Women in Public Service Project at the Wilson Center are proud to share pieces from women who have been instrumental in realizing the goals of the Beijing Platform for Action in different parts of the world. The cusp of Beijing+20 coincides with the 15th anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 that calls for women's leadership in conflict resolution and peacekeeping and the eve of the Post-2015 Millenium Development Goals.
