Alberto Tonini is an assistant professor in International History at the University of Florence, Italy. He is a member of the Executive Board of SeSaMO, the Italian Society for Middle Eastern Studies. He has also taught at the Air Force Military Academy in Florence and at the University of Urbino. He received his Ph.D. in International History at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Florence.
