Wilson Center Project(s):
"America Through Arab Eyes: Perceptions of Power and Empire"

Project Summary

The Arab Spring has led to the birth of a new elite class, as well as a new generation of young Arabs who are more connected than ever to the outside world through the new phenomenon of social media. Amal Mudallali's research aims to explore the views and perceptions of both the young generation and these new elites towards America after the events of the Arab Spring. The purpose of this research is to determine whether change in the Arab world has brought a different dynamic to U.S.-Arab relations.
