Bruno Losch, Research Director of the Centre de Coopération Internationale en Recherche Agronomique pour le Développement (CIRAD), was attached to the World Bank (2005-2011) where he was responsible for the coordination of the RuralStruc program on the “Structural Dimensions of Liberalization on Agriculture and Rural Development.”  The program was supported by the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), CIRAD and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).  In addition to his work at CIRAD and The World Bank, Losch held a visiting position at the Institute of International Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and he is currently closely collaborating with NEPAD’s Rural Futures program.
