Nairika Murphy is currently the Program Assistant for the Environmental Change and Security Program.
Prior to joining the Wilson Center, Nairika worked for Enhesa environmental consultancy and the Boston University sustainability office. Her past efforts focused on institutional sustainability, communications and outreach, program development, benchmarking analysis, and strategic planning. She also served as an organizer for the 2012 MIT Energy Conference in Boston, MA.
Nairika holds an MA in Energy & Environmental Analysis and a BA in Environmental Policy & Analysis, both from Boston University. These studies focused on the nexus of market economics, climate science, and policy analysis. Her interests lie in institutional sustainability, economics, sustainable business strategy, clean energy, and demand side management.
