Oscar A. Chacón is an immigrant from El Salvador, with nearly 30 years of experience organizing and empowering migrant communities in the U.S. He has served since 2007 as executive director of the National Alliance of Latin American & Caribbean Communities (NALACC), an umbrella of immigrant-led organizations from around the country dedicated to improving the quality of life of Latino immigrant communities in the U.S., as well as of peoples throughout Latin America.
