Woodrow Wilson Center - Washington Post Journalism Fellowship: Selection Committee

Selection Committee

A selection committee, drawn from the leadership of the convening institutions and external experts, selects the most qualified applicants. Each year’s selection committee is comprised of senior reporters and editors at the Post, senior Wilson Center staff, and outside consultants, including authors, journalists, and journalism professors. The Committee is looking for proposals that demonstrate originality and seek to break new ground on issues of local, national, or regional importance in Latin America and the Caribbean or in their relationship with the United States. Ultimately the Selection Committee’s decision is based on a careful evaluation of each applicant’s journalistic background and the originality and feasibility of their proposal.
