About Infosphere Invaders

Infosphere Invaders challenges players to think critically about information we see on the internet–and what can be done to improve our infosphere. Play as an all star agent team that works together to de-escalate threats in the infosphere. Each level presents you with a new scenario based on real research from the Wilson Center and peer-reviewed journals, from case examples drawn from India, Kenya, and Brazil. While the game is fiction, the real story is how we can work together to defend the infosphere. To learn more about these and other scenarios, read some of our additional resources.

How Do I Play?

As you progress through the game, your agent team will encounter a new invader on each level. Each invader presents its own challenge. The Divider, The Misleader, and The Bot Master, present different types of threats to the infosphere, from witting spreaders to bots programmed to overpower community consensus. However, the actions you can take as a team of agents stay the same. It is up to you to decide what tools to use to save our infosphere
