Former CWIHP Intern Earns Award from USIP

Former CWIHP Intern Patrick Riechert was recently awarded first place at the state level for his submission to the United States Institute of Peace 2008-2009 National Peace Essay Contest.

Riechert wrote on "Confronting Crimes Against Humanity in the 21st Century." As the top essayist from the District of Columbia he will receive a partial college scholarship as well as a place in USIP's week-long awards program in June.
