Former WWICS Public Policy Scholar and UNKS Professor Ryoo Kihl-jae quoted in Korea Times article on arms reductions
Former Wilson Center Public Policy Scholar and University of North Korean Studies (Seoul) Professor Ryoo Kihl-jae was quoted in a recent Korea Times article on ROK President Lee Myung Bak's recent conventional arms reduction proposal for the Korean Peninsula.
Relating conventional arms reduction to the ongoing North Korean nuclear issue, Professor Ryoo stated that "the reduction of conventional weapons is as important as the dismantlement of nuclear stockpiles for peace building."
