July 9, 2011
Frederick Meyerson is a Visiting Scholar at the Population Reference Bureau and a former Public Policy Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center.
Traditionally, immigration and natural population growth have been real boons to America. With our belief in an unbounded frontier, an ever larger population was always desirable. Demographer and conservation biologist Frederick Meyerson thinks this is a dangerous trend and explains how a debate should proceed.
