Iran continues to pose a challenge to EU diplomacy on a large number of critical issues. Cooperation between the EU and Iran continues in a wide number of fields but remains well below its potential due to political and legal constraints. Ambassador Postl will discuss the major problems that the EU faces in its relations with Iran. He will also discuss aspects of the Austro-Iranian bilateral relationship.
