In two weeks more than 140 million registered Brazilians voters are expected to elect the President of the Republic. The first round of voting will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2014. A runoff with the two top vote gatherers is scheduled for Sunday, October 26. In order to provide its members and the Washington policy community with the latest information from the campaign trail and insights from top advisers of the three leading candidates, the Brazil-US Business Council, in partnership with the Brazil Institute of the Wilson Center, and the support of Citi and DeVry, will convene a special presidential campaign series, "Meet the Campaign Managers," in-depth conversations with Brazil's top presidential campaign advisers. Mark your calendars for the first event in the series, "A Conversation with Mauricio Rands, Campaign Coordinator for Marina Silva of the Socialist Party (PSB)," to be held at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Registration and networking breakfast begins at 9:00 a.m.
