Overview

Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang have assumed the top party and government positions in China. Among their economic and political agenda are slowing economic growth, a widening income gap, widespread corruption, and how to regain the public’s trust and support for the Communist Party of China. In response, the new leadership has initiated an anti-corruption campaign aimed at encouraging austerity among China’s elites and highlighted urbanization as essential to sustaining economic growth.

Dr. Junhua Wu and Mr. Kiyoyuki Seguchi addressed this question and more, offering their analysis on the future outlook of Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang's policies.
