Overview

The Woodrow Wilson Center's History and Public Policy Program, in cooperation with the Romanian Cultural Institute and the University of Maryland, College Park will co-host The End and the Beginning: The Revolutions of 1989 and the Resurgence of History a two day conference commemorating the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The first day of the conference, November 9, will be held at the University of Maryland, College Park. Day two will be held at the Woodrow Wilson Center.

The conference will feature renowned scholars, journalists, and policy-makers from Europe and the United States.
