The Council of Women World Leaders was pleased to welcome Nicole Schwab to launch the Gender Equality Project, a Swiss-based non-profit she co-founded to promote gender equality in corporations. Schwab outlined the trajectory of the project, and the implementation of its Gender Equality Certification for corporations.  The event also featured Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues Melanne Verveer and Beth Brooke, Global Vice Chair of Public Policy for Ernst & Young, who discussed the potential applications of the Gender Equality Project and strategies for achieving gender parity in leadership position across sectors.  The discussion was moderated by Laura Liswood, Secretary General of the Council.
