Project Description

The geothermal resource is in a neighboring valley, Hot Springs Bay Valley, approximately five miles from the load. The geothermal area, which has numerous high temperature hot springs in the valley leading down from Akutan Volcano, was explored in the 1980s and was rated as a high potential site.
