Full Biography
Alejandro Calderón is the founder of Mutual Empathy and brings more than 15 years’ experience in the financial sector with J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley having worked with them in Paris, Geneva, London and New York. He co-founded ValueSkies, a company that transforms waste and energy crops into low-carbon renewable fuels and green chemistry. Alejandro is co-founder of Looking for the Masters, which seeks to preserve ancestral knowledge and technologies, empowering indigenous communities. He co-founded P17, a multi-stakeholder coalition in Colombia, to mobilize investment into SDGs using a blended finance strategy with the UN, WWF and Fundación Mario Santodomingo. He is also co-founder of Neutraloop which looks to engage stakeholders in the lifestyle industry to promote an environmental impact and mobilization of resources towards industry related projects. With Mutual Empathy, he is also focusing on regenerative ecotourism for Latin America and education technology in the Amazon Biome.
