Expert Bio

Annie Lovejoy Jenkins currently resides in Northern Virginia where she works as a youth girls lacrosse coach while raising her two children with her husband, John.  Annie graduated from Yale College in 1993 and soon after moved to Costa Rica where she worked for The National Biodiversity Institute (INBio) for four years.  Upon her return to the US in the late 1990's, she studied ceramics and sculpture at the Corcoran School of Art, worked as a florist and eventually found her way to coaching youth sports for her husband's business, Just For Kids.  Annie is passionate about caring for the world around her, and recently joined the Board of Trustees at the Barker Adoption Foundation in Bethesda, MD.
