Carla Humphrey Jordan

Carla was a councilor of the Electoral Institute of the Federal District from 2006 to 2013; later, secretary of Study and Account in the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judiciary of the Federation from 2014 to 2016; and from 2018 to 2020, she was general director of Regulatory Affairs of the Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP). In 2020, Carla was elected INE councilor from 2020 to July 2029 by the Chamber of Deputies. Carla studied law at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and is a candidate for a Ph.D. in Government and Public Administration at the Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, specializing in constitutional law and political-electoral matters.
