Full Biography
Carrie H. Cohen is a current Partner at Morrison & Forster in New York City and an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She also currently serves as a member of the New York City Bar’s Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, where she leads a program for the professional development of female attorneys in Latin America. She is an experienced prosecutor with a distinguished record of trying white-collar, corruption, and securities cases. Prior to joining the firm, she served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York, and as Chief of the Public Integrity Unit in the Criminal Division of the New York State Attorney General’s Office. In the Attorney General’s Civil Rights Bureau, she was also an Assistant Attorney General. Before her time in government service, she spent six years in private practice. Ms. Cohen earned her Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 1989 and her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1993.
