Svyatoslav Pavlyuk

Svyatoslav Pavlyuk is the executive director of the Association of Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine, which works to improve the capacity of municipalities to plan and implement energy transition and energy efficiency programs in their efforts to modernize the municipal infrastructure and reach carbon neutrality. Mr. Pavlyuk has over 20 years of experience of coordination of international projects in Ukraine, Poland, Eastern Neighbourhood countries, and Central Asia in cooperation with international donors, including USAID, Soros Foundation Network, Boell Foundation, World Bank, Mott Foundation, European Commission, and European Investment Bank. This includes over 14 years of engagement with the energy sector, including translating and explaining terminology and logic of EU Energy Efficiency legislation to Ukrainian stakeholders, working with key government institutions in developing energy efficiency-related legislation in Ukraine, and cooperating with municipalities in Ukraine and neighbouring countries on training, needs assessment, and administration of energy efficiency projects.
