Zena Kebede

Zena Kebede is an Electrical Engineer and Certified Wireless Network Specialist (CWS) currently working as a Technical Program Manager in Microsoft Airband Initiative team supporting both US and international team with technical design and implementation of Microsoft Airband Engineering projects globally. They work with internet service providers and other partners to provide broadband internet access and bridge digital divide.

Kebede has more than 10 years of experience in telecommunications at different capacities including planning, optimization, technical leadership and project management. Some of the companies he has worked at in the past include Sprint, Samsung, Alcatel Lucent. Throughout Zena Kebede's career he has been consistently working in solving broadband gap and providing internet access using hybrid (wired and wireless technologies) including TVWS.
