
The Woodrow Wilson Center’s Kennan Institute has been engaged in the study of transnational migration in Ukraine and in Russia for the past decade. In particular, the Kennan Institute has supported three in-depth studies of migrant communities in Moscow and Kyiv, using surveys, census information, and interviews to collect data. Some of the Kennan Institute’s findings are summarized and point the way toward additional research.
