The Asia Program Welcomes New Fellows

The Asia Program is pleased to announce three fellows who will be joining us for 2021-2022.

  • Alexis Dudden, Professor of History, University of Connecticut, joins us as a fellow, with a project titled “The Opening and Closing of Japan, 1850-2020.”
  • Yuichiro Hanazawa, Senior Producer/Senior Reporter of NHK, is our newest Japan Scholar. His project is "Desirable China Policy and Risks for US."
  • Sanjay Kathuria, Adjunct Professor/Visiting Faculty, Georgetown University/Ashoka University; Senior Visiting Fellow/Non-Resident Senior Fellow, Center for Policy Research, New Delhi/Institute of South Asian Studies, Singapore, is a Fellow who will be researching “Trade, Trust and Peace: Nudging the Future of Two Billion South Asians.”
