Project Summary

Russia’s three tiny Baltic neighbors have come to be perceived in Russia as markers for western imperialism and an assault on Slavic identity; links the often apocalyptic rhetoric emanating from Russia about the Baltic states with a profound and historically-rooted fear of vulnerability
