Miguel Salazar served as the Public Affairs Specialist for the Latin American Program's Mexico Institute, where he was responsible for the program's outreach and communications efforts. He previously served as the Program Assistant for the Mexico Institute. Prior to joining the Wilson Center, Miguel worked at the National Hispanic Corporate Council, the National Council of La Raza, and the Office of Congressman Ciro D. Rodriguez (D-TX 23) in Washington, D.C. He received a B.A. in History and Latin American and Hemispheric Studies from The George Washington University. Miguel is fluent in Spanish.
