International Day of Peace: Africa Program Suggested Reading
Officially recognized by the United Nations, the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on the 21st of September. This day is meant to promote the installation and maintenance of peace worldwide.

The United Nations describes the International Day of Peace (or World Peace Day) as an invitation to "all nations and people to honor a cessation of hostilities during the Day, and to otherwise commemorate the Day through education and public awareness on issues related to peace." In recognition of this day, a list of 15 suggested publications, reports, and blogs pertaining peacebuilding pertaining to Africa are listed below.
