Para analizar estos y otros objetivos, en Agenda Económica conversamos con Jorge Heine, embajador de Chile en China, quien al respecto señaló que una de las metas es transformar a nuestro país en una gran potencia alimentaria para 2020, por lo que aumentar la exportación de productos específicos hacia el gigante asiático es una labor fundamental.

"Si nos preocupamos de la calidad de nuestros productos, el buen precio va a venir por añadidura, porque el consumidor chino es exigente", indicó Heine, agregando que "Chile tiene prestigio de ser una especie de oasis fitosanitario", por lo que uno de los desafíos es "reinventarse y buscar nuevos nichos que expandan la frontera agrícola".
