Sectores coinciden en necesidad de plan fiscal

"Académicos, empresarios, sindicalistas y diputados coincidieron ayer en que la situación financiera de Costa Rica es preocupante y se requiere corregir el rumbo con una reforma fiscal.

Así quedó de manifiesto durante el panel organizado por el Programa Estado de la Nación, el Consejo Nacional de Rectores (Conare), el periódico La Nación y el Wilson Center, con apoyo de la Tinker Foundation.

Costa Rica cumplirá, en el 2014, cinco años consecutivos con un déficit del Gobierno Central mayor que el 4% de la producción, y para el próximo año el Banco Central estima que alcanzará un 6,6%."
