The Great Divide at the Border
Since March 2020, the United States and Canada have restricted border crossing to “essential” crossing only. What’s essential? Commercial trucking. What isn’t? Love, as it turns out. On this episode of Canusa Street we talk to Devon Weber who leads a grass roots group called Let Us Reunite that has been campaigning for months to get Ottawa and Washington to let families cross the border to see partners, children, and elderly family members.
