Brazil-US Roundtable on Energy and Carbon Management - Business and Government Perspectives

On October 2nd, the Brazil Institute and AmCham hosted a Brazil-US Energy Ministers Roundtable, aiming at strengthening the bilateral agenda through a high-level meeting.

The Brazil Institute and AmCham hosted a discussion featuring U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm and Brazilian Minister of Mines and Energy Alexandre Silveira.

Held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, during the G20 Energy Transitions Ministerial Meetings, the event aimed to explore both business and government perspectives. The discussion brought together the two Energy Ministers and key industry stakeholders to advance bilateral clean energy and decarbonization initiatives.

During the event, we had the opportunity to discuss robust work agendas and present two studies outlining concrete proposals for cooperation on hydrogen energy solutions.
